Usage
Template:ISO 639 name de is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|de| some text in German}} wraps the text with <span lang="de"> and could be used by the template {{Lang}} with language code de to include articles in Category:Articles containing German-language text (may be created using {{Category articles containing non-English-language text |German |de}}).
- {{R from other language|de|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from German-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|de}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to German-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
